Had a lovely afternoon at the Phantom Winger, we used to go this pub quite a lot but after some bad experiences we stopped and haven’t been in a long time. Today we thought we would give it a try again, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, service was amazing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon :)

Come here every weekend without fail, Banging food always.. regardless if it’s breakfast or tea! Always fresh & hot when it comes out. Staff are friendly, funny, approachable and always helpful. All in all wouldn’t choose weekly tea anywhere else!!

Paid for my children to go in soft play before food as i normally do 5 to 6 times a month when my son was hit by another child he hit them back and the other childs drunken mother made a scene were we was asked to leave I was told i couldnt have a refund for my 3 children I just paid for evan tho the other child was hitting every kid in there not the kind of service I expect as my son was the victim he just stood up for himself. The gut less so called manager just listened to the loud half drunk woman who was also in charge if a new born because she was rude and loud I will never take my children here again or dine there myself.

We visited yesterday - there was over an hour wait for food even though the place was not busy. We only got told this after we had ordered.
The food came and was barely warm. There was other customers going mad at the staff about the food being awful and going round telling others to leave before they order food!
Our food was cold - dry and left 2 of our party on the toilet rather a lot!!
We won’t be visiting again

I have to say as a google guid i eat out alot but i have to say the food here is absolutly amazing wholesome fresh food prepared to exelence the staff are fantastic no request to big to fullfill all alergys catered for freindly exceptionaly clean with 1st grade a service .the food is of the highest standard my table was catered by eijah becky and james i must say a huge thankyou to you all your dedication and hospitality i for sure will miss when i leave my holiday thankyou to you all you have made our time perfect and last but by far the least A HUGE THANKYOU TO THE 1ST CLASS CHEF WHO HAS PREPARED 1ST CLASS TASTY AMAZING FOOD I RATE THIS RESTERAUNT 100 STARS THANKYOU KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK I WILL BE CALLING AGAIN THIS TRULY IS A MUST GO PLACE IF VISITING PRESTON NORTH !! Popped in on Friday and grabbed some burgers on the burger deal (which was amazing value) The staff were really attentive and the food arrived quickly and the as hot and tasty. We can’t wait to pop in again

Took the kids to Wacky Warehouse last week, all the girls were so lovely. Caring, compassionate and lovely towards the children. They announced it was the best day ever, and keep asking to come back. Wacky Warehouse staff a real credit to the company. Thankyou xx

We have used the next door Ibis hotel on numerous occasions over many years and always make at least one visit to the Phantom WInger. A couple of years ago service and quality had nosedived with particularly obvious supply chain issues and what appeared to be high staff turnover, quite likely a knock on effect from the pandemic? My how things have improved, the PW has really got it's act together with a great menu, good prices and above all staff who obviously care and know about customer service which means it is now better than it ever was. It is never going to be gourmet eating but some of the newer menu additions are excellent and their breakfast menu represent excellent value for money. And of course many of the old favourites are there. On a recent 4 day stay at the IBIS we ate in the Winger for 3 evenings and 2 breakfasts, one real bonus is that they are very dog friendly with our little Jack Russell getting a load of attention! So to the manager and staff I would say keep up the good work and we look forward to our next visit.

Visiting Preston with the family staying at the Ibis next door to this pub. Great food & service. Food came quickly and tasted lovely and my little ones loved playing in the Wacky also! Prices very reasonable for the area and for what you get

Food was only just warm sausage was like it had been in a chip shop fryer quality was poor forgot to bring all food out so had to go ask for it. Good pubs get returning customers this one won't be

Very pleasant two evenings in this venue. We were staying next door at the Ibis. Lots of parking spaces, staff are incredible and could not do enough for us. My partner was having an operation at Royal Preston hospital and I can honestly say the restaurant was a god send as otherwise it would of been takeaway.

Just had the best breakfast here. Service was on amazing, coffee was better that any barista could make.
